The Market Research Analyst will develop high-quality market intelligence deliverables for MarketIQuest, including industry reports, opportunity assessments, competitor analysis, and strategic briefings. This role is research-heavy and output-focused: your work directly supports client decisions, BD conversations, and marketing content.Job Description:
Conduct secondary research across industry reports, regulatory updates, company disclosures, technical literature, and press releases to build a fact base for each project.Analyze market drivers, adoption barriers, regulatory forces, supply chain structures, and go-to-market models in specific sectors (for example: advanced manufacturing, energy storage, industrial automation, alternative protein, mobility, etc.).
Build structured deliverables such as market landscape summaries, company benchmarking, value chain mapping, SWOTs, and positioning frameworks.
Draft executive-style writeups in a clear, decision-oriented tone (board-level, investor-level, buyer-level).
Support custom client projects with targeted analysis — e.g. partner shortlist, entry barriers in a region, segment prioritization, etc.
Break down complex technical narratives (hydrogen, robotics, precision agriculture, packaging sustainability, etc.) into commercial implications.
Work with Business Development to shape proposals and articulate why the research matters to the client’s growth/expansion decisions.
Collaborate with Marketing to extract public-facing insights (non-confidential) for thought leadership posts and landing pages.
Maintain internal knowledge libraries, taxonomies, and sector trackers so we don’t “start from zero” every time.
Ensure all insights are fact-driven, compliant, and defensible - no exaggerated claims. des
