Business Development Executive

Job Summary:

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving revenue for MarketIQuest by identifying potential clients, pitching research solutions, and building long-term commercial relationships. The role focuses on lead qualification, outreach, and converting interest in our market intelligence into paid engagements and recurring relationships.

Job Description:

Identify and map target accounts across industries (manufacturing, energy, chemicals, mobility, consumer tech, etc.) that require market insights, custom research, or strategic intelligence.

Run structured outreach via LinkedIn, email, and calls to generate qualified leads and book discovery meetings.

Understand client pain points (market entry, competitor benchmarking, TAM sizing, regulatory analysis, etc.) and position MarketIQuest offerings accordingly.

Pitch research reports, custom projects, and ongoing intelligence support in a clear, ROI-focused way — not as generic PDFs.

Maintain and update the sales pipeline: status, next steps, decision makers, timelines, objections.

Prepare and deliver capability decks, introductory mailers, and follow-up notes after calls.

Coordinate with the research team to scope client requirements into workable proposals (objectives, deliverables, timelines, commercials).

Track renewal and upsell opportunities with existing accounts; build relationships instead of one-time transactional sales.

Provide structured client feedback to product/research/marketing: which sectors are hot, which formats sell, which decision-makers are most responsive.

Represent MarketIQuest professionally in external conversations and act as the first point of contact for new inbound leads. des
